About Ms. Lina
Ms. Lina Be is an accomplished musician and educator who began her piano studies at the age of five and has dedicated her life to music education and performance. During her teenage years, she studied in the Piano Preparatory Program at the University of Antioquia in Colombia, where she later earned her Bachelor's degree in Music Education with an emphasis in Piano. She has furthered her expertise through specialized training, including the Seminar-Workshop in Music Composition for Film at Bellas Artes University (Colombia) and the Piano Teachers Workshop at Morley College (London).
With over 15 years of teaching experience, Lina brings a rich international perspective to her instruction, having taught piano, music theory, and early childhood music education at prestigious institutions including Amadeus, Colegio de Música, and Yamaha music academies.

International Performer: Has performed across Latin America, Europe, and the USA with renowned groups including Mikanto, Los Mangos, Espiral, and La Nueva Estudiantina, and currently performs as pianist, accordionist, and singer with SabroSon Latin Band
Collaborative Pianist: Served as collaborative pianist for graduate music recitals at West Virginia University, supporting the success of advanced music students
Composer & Arranger: Has composed and arranged numerous works spanning solo piano, multiple pianos, chamber ensembles, Latin bands, and short films, showcasing versatility across diverse musical genres
Convention Participant: Active participant in major musical conventions including the NFA, Mid-Atlantic Flute Convention, IFF, and the International Street Festival at WVU
